After much consideration, i've decided that i'm no longer updating this blog. It has nothing to do with my love for Scarlett, i'm still interested in everything she does but it's taking me too much of my time and my heart is not there to keep on doing. I'd like to thank all the dear followers and anyone who's ever passed here and left a very nice comment, i truly appreciate that.

I will keep updating though, my LostinScarlett tumblr with all the new pics and will start posting news on the old and not used Twitter account for the blog Scarlett_Online (i follow back), so be sure to follow it if you want to still get updates on Scarlett's career. And if anyone wants to keep in touch with me, let me know and i'll give you my personal blog where i post many stuff related to cinema, fashion and tv shows and surely will review any new Scarlett film there.

A really goreous behind-the-scenes photo of Scarlett during the Dolce & Gabbana Matte Foundation campaign, she looks so lovely and natural right? Simply gorgeous.

There's some exciting news for those who love her music because she's gonna release new material this year! Music label Federal Prism announced their 2013 releases and has a single by Scarlett on their plans! This is Dave Sitek's from TV on the Radio music label, who was behind the production of Scarlett's album 'Anywhere I Lay My Head', so these are very good news! She has always talked about how she wanted to release more music of her own, and as much as I would rather see her focusing on acting, I always love what she does in singing so we'll see what comes out of that.

'Don Jon's couple

This is a brand new still of 'Don Jon' (previously titled 'Don Jon's Addiction'), Joseph Gordon Levitt's directorial debut, in which their characters are shopping for curtains, don't they look amazing? Scarlett looks specially pretty and sweet and I simply can't wait to watch this movie.

It centers around a relationship between a young man (Joseph) who watches too much pornography and a young woman (Scarlett) who watches too many romantic Hollywood movies and other cast includes Tony Danza and Julianne Moore.

The movie will open on October in the USA and the reviews it had so far on Sundance and at the Berlin Film Festival were really positive so let's hope a trailer comes out soon! Check out more stills at the source below.

Scarlett @ Live with Kelly and Michael

Scarlett visited this week the Live with Kelly & Michael show and while I couldn't find the interview videos, below I posted two vids from the show that don't have good quality but they're good enough to see the whole interview.

She talks about her play on Broadway 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' and the excitement that brings to her, they show a clip of 13-year-old Scarlett when she was on the show for the very first time and Scarlett gives an exclusive, that she's working in an all-girl band!

"I'm in the process of working on an all-girls band... We're called the One and Only Singles, we're kind of doing our Go-Gos thing. We're like a super force."

These are some really unexpected news and while I don't fancy the idea of this project that much, she always puts her very personal mark on everything she does and some other projects she has had in the past that didn't sound too well at first, I ended up adoring them, so we'll see. Traducción: Scarlett estuvo esta semana en el programa Live with Kelly and Michael y mientras que no he podido encontrar vídeos de la entrevista, arriba he puesto dos vídeos del programa que no tienen buena calidad pero que están bastante bien para ver toda la entrevista.

Ella habla de su obra el Broadway 'La gata sobre el tejado de zinc' y toda la emoción que le conlleva, muestran un vídeo de Scarlett a los 13 años de la primera vez que estuvo en el programa y Scarlett da una exclusiva, de que está trabajando en un grupo compuesto sólo por chicas!

"Estoy en el proceso de trabajar con una banda sólo de chicas... Nos llamamos las One and Only Singles, y estamos más o menos haciendo nuestro rollo a lo Go-Gos. Somos como una super fuerza."

Ésa es una notícia bastante inesperada y mientras que no me acaba de convencer la idea de este proyecto, ella siempre pone su sello personal en cualquier cosa que hace, y algunos de sus otros proyectos que ha tenido en el pasado que no sonaban muy bien al principio, los he acabado adorando.  Mirad los vídeos arriba!

Gorgeous Desire

Scarlett in a new gorgeous ad for Dolce & Gabbana's The One Desire campaign, she looks so very beautiful here, that look in her eyes is penetrating and she simply looks fierce.

She lent her beautiful vocals to J.Raph's song 'Before my Time' for the documentary 'Chasing Ice' and even though it didn't win the Oscar for Best Original Song at the Academy Awards (it went to Adele for 'Skyfall'), she has said:

"It's funny because I never thought I would be nominated for an Oscar next to Adele. That was very surprising to me. It's such a beautiful documentary called 'Chasing Ice'. My friend Jay Ralph did all the music for it. He just called me up and we did a song for it. It was a beautiful song that he wrote, but I never could have imagined it'd be nominated for an Oscar."

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon guest

Scarlett appeared on the Jimmy Fallon Show on Friday night looking gorgeous and lovely and even though I couldn't find the whole interview, here are two clips. In the first one she talks about her Broadway play and how excited she's always about performing infront of a live audience and she's really enthusiastic about it and in the second, she talks about the Obamas so be sure to watch the vids below.

In other news, the Academy Awards are tonight and best of luck to J.Ralph and his nomination for Best Original Song for 'Before My Time', with vocals by Scarlett, she won't be able to attend the awards but let's hope the song gets the Oscar!

Scarlett and Romain engaged?

 

Scarlett and her boyfriend Romain Dauriac were spotted this Monday out and about New York (Feb.18) heading for coffee and later to a tattoo parlor, these two got inked together when they started dating last October so who knows if they got another tattoo again.

Scarlett was spotted wearing a ring on her engagement finger (just like i first spotted back in December) and now rumours of a possible engagement to her four-month French boyfriend have surfaced but her rep has quickly denied them. Let's hope it doesn't mean an engagement because it would be way too soon even though she looks really happy with Romain.

In other news, it seems that Scarlett won't be at the Academy Awards after all, 'Before My Time' is nominated for Best Original Song and she lent her vocals to it, but she's too busy performing 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' on Broadway, such a shame!

Lucky Scarlett for D&G

A behind-the-scenes photo of Scarlett during the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2013 campaign, she looks so pretty and dreamy here, much better than the actual ad, she doesn't need any photoshop!

Anyway, last Summer she got a tattoo on her ribs that reads "Lucky You" and she has said about it:

"I always liked the idea of luck. I like the sentiment of lucky charms, even the Victorian idea of charms and keepsakes and things like that. [ But do you feel lucky?] Sometimes more than others, but yes. I feel very lucky. When you travel and have a greater perspective on what others are experiencing, when you have a broader view of the world and life, it makes you feel extremely lucky."

Playing Maggie after Elizabeth Taylor

A new stunning ad for Dolce & Gabbana make-up Spring campaign, she looks really beautiful here, really womanly and I simply loved her eyes in the ad.

Scarlett is currently playing Maggie in 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' on Broadway, a role played by Elizabeth Taylor and many others before, and she said about it:

"The only time I’ve ever seen Maggie played is with Ashley Judd [on Broadway in 2003]. I’ve never seen the film. I’ve never seen the television film. I’ve never seen anything else. I guess I never had any idea of the role as being iconic in any particular way other than the fact that Elizabeth Taylor [played it]—I know the posters. But I don’t know the nuances of her performance, or her take on it. I never felt the pressure of that. I understand, of course, that the role is a classic, and it’s iconic in many people’s minds, and so whatever my take is on it is certainly my take on it. For better or worse, people have their own ideas of the character based on previous performances. But I never had to be burdened with that, which I think worked in my favor."

It's nice that she didn't feel the pressure of playing a role that had been played by the iconic Elizabeth Taylor and according to the critics, she didn't disappoint. I've seen the movie and it's a fierce character and a really great role, so I'm glad she's getting good reviews and that she was able to pull it off. Second Tony coming?
